Yes, yes, I have an rp idea. Is this a good thing? Maybe. Probably not.
A fact about me is that I like to read a lot and I know a lot of people on the internet like to read a lot, and I’m guessing many people on the internet can also read due to the fact that you are reading this sentence and if you cannot read, sorry if I just insulted you but you just read that sentence so yay!
Um, anyways. The idea is that all the characters in this little town of this place I have not decided, are actually characters from different novels.
For example, you have take the character Holden Caulfield from J.D. Salinger’s novel The Catcher in the Rye but he’s not Holden Caulfield. He’s maybe Mike Mikelton, a confused troublemaker who once ran away to the circus or something like that. Nobody in the town knows that they are shaped from different novels.
Their names can be completely different from their character’s name in the novel and that’s alright. Their life, however, has to be somewhat close to the characters in the novel. I don’t mean like if we have a Harry Potter-esque character that he is a wizard with a scar on his forehead, I mean that his parents are dead and that he lives quite impoverished and lonely and possibly abused by his terrifying aunt and uncle, etc.
The rules will also be quite different. I know there are a lot of amazing writers in the universe, and there are writers who may not be so good. Of course people will still have to audition but I’m probably going to bend on what most “serious” roleplays tend to ask for.
When I begun roleplaying it was literally asterisk and one liners. However, when I continued to roleplay, I found that I can learn how to properly write, with complete precise punctuation and all those quotation marks and what not. So what I’m basically saying is that you learn to become better at writing.
I will not be saying no or refusing to let people to join (there is one exception, let me get to that later) based on their sample paragraph. But the point of this, of course, is to get better and to learn from one another.
The one exception to not being allowed to join this roleplay, is if you do not get the password right or you do not put it in. Yes, like many roleplays, there is a hidden password in the rules. We need one because there will be rules which need to be read and followed, even if it is just about three rules since I will probably ramble on in rules, just like now.
To show you an example of what kind of character is in the town, I was thinking of taking my long time OC of Avalon Iver (previously known as Effy Petrova) who I have had in so many roleplays I cannot begin to count but all those roleplays have died or I’ve gotten to busy.
Avalon is Sam from The Perks of Being A Wallflower. Sam, in the novel, is a rebellious, intelligent girl. She’s also kind of a slut, in people’s eyes. So, Avalon will be a rebellious, intelligent girl who just needs a little loving from time to time (I mean, who doesn’t?).
A more, perhaps, popular character would be Hermione Granger. Let’s say Hermione Granger is a girl named Anastasia Mason. She’s intelligent, nerdy, etc. But she could also have some kind of drug problem or sickness about her- so it doesn’t have to be completely confined to what the character was like in the novel.
OCs will always be opened. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a really good rp with its OCs opened right away. I think OCs are good because people can use fcs that haven’t been taken and use characters from books I may have never heard of, or have not used. I will not allow the Hermione Granger-esque character to have the face-claim of Emma Watson or the Sherlock Holmes-esque character to have the face-claim of Benedict Cumberbatch (regardless of how amazing that is).
So yeah, that’s my roleplay idea and some extra stuff that probably annoyed you. Please leave me thoughts and if you would join and what not so I can decide whether or not to begin this actual roleplay.

Yes, I know you all hate me.
I’m sorry it’s taking literally ages to get back on track but I went for a walk and begun thinking about bringing this back. I remembered the craziness of trying to get everything done and working on what not, so I decided to make some rules.
- I will only do the maximum of five roleplays a day. That might seem like a little, but five times seven is…a number every week, right?
- A maximum of 15 crackship gifs a day. That’s a lot.
And that’s all.
I’m going to change the theme and edit and stuff but basically, WE ARE BACK.
Unless the theme is okay in which I’m quite lazy so might not actually change it. ANYWAYS
